EYElet ME

Links to new stores opening and other
places worth checking out. Good for the browsing.
Have never heard of most of these.

Liking this look. American Apparel dress, in its
balletish style, with a springy eyelet jacket. This AA dress goes for $50 dollars and is reminiscent
of a gymnastics outfit but also of a fairy.
On the topic of AA, check out this video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3geoXOdnJQ
My favorite Robert Palmer song. Although this is an old video, it could totally be an ad for AA (if Robert Palmer was sleeping with all the models OBVI).
Interesting: Penguins mate for life. That's what I love about them. A lot of people know that. But did you know that it's usually the FEMALES that compete for the MALES?
Good weekend song: Martha and the Vandellas, Heat Wave. Love these women.

All GRAYED Out and SMELL ME PLEASE

Apparently, gray is the new classic in clothing- can be dressed up or down. Metallic grays particularly pique my interest- I think they give a bit more glamour. The gray can be less harsh than black but just as upscale.

PERFUME
Yesterday, I purchased a new perfume, to switch up my Chanel Mademoiselle. FLOWERBOMB [Viktor & Rolf]. It has the scent of a sugar-encrusted bouquet. Already my office smells of it because of having the package here. Love it.

Model As Muse

My first coffeetable book for the coffee table I don't have yet. This exhibit was at the MET this past summer- covered six decades of Vogue models, complete with models hanging from the ceiling in beautiful dresses. It was a very interactive display, music from each era of fashion to complete the viewing experience.

Also feeling FP lingerie- bright neon oranges, yellows and pinks.

In honor of GG,

xoxo, AA.
